If nothing else, week 6 reiterated one thing for all of us. Derrick Henry is very good at football. This man could seriously hurt someone soon. On Sunday, the Titans star back racked up 264 total yards while finding the end zone twice as he led the way in both DraftKings (43.4 fantasy points) and FanDuel (39.4 FP) scoring.
For the second straight week, a rookie receiver led the way with scoring as Justin Jefferson had his second monster game of the season as he tallied 42.6 DK FP and 35.1 FD FP as the Vikings were trying to mount a comeback against the Flacons.
On the other side of that game, the Matt Ryan to Julio Jones combination was the highest quarterback to receiver combo on the slate as that stack netted a cool 71.34 DK FP and 61.34 FD FP.
Two of the best three salary saving options came from the tight end position as Trey Burton (3.1k – 21.9 DK FP | 4.7k – 19.9 FD FP) and Anthony Firsker (3.5k – 28.3 DK FP | 4.5k – 21.3 FD FP) while D’Andre Swift (4.5k DK | 5.4k FD) found the end zone twice as he scored over 25 fantasy points on both sites.
Five of the eleven games on Sunday’s main slate went over 50 points, led by the Houston versus Tennessee matchup with 78 while the Atlanta and Minnesota game totaled 63.
With this week’s main slate in the books, let’s take a look back on how our coaches faired in their picks for last weeks “Coaches Playbook”.
For cash game calls, both @KyleDillard20 and @VGo07 led the way with Kenny Golladay (17.5 DK FP | 12.5 FD FP) as the best call this week. David Montgomery was @nickfromcwe’s call and even though he did not find the end zone, his 13.7 DK PF did not destroy your cash lineups.
Ronald Jones was the top tournament call by @snoopAloop_3 as he racked up 29.1 DK FP and 25.1 FD FP as the Buccaneers destroyed the Packers. @bellmar21’s Calvin Ridley (18.9 DK FP | 15.9 FD FP) call was also solid as he found the end zone once on Sunday.
Both @nickfromcwe and @HQGolfGuy had the highest preforming team stack this week with the Vikings (Cousins/Thielen/Jefferson/Smith – 97.9 DK FP | 83.9 FD FP). The Titans stack (Tannehill/Henry/Brown/Firsker 127.9 DK FP | 110.4 FD FP) was the highest preforming team stack as they put up 42 points against the Texans.
@snoopAloop_3 nailed the Titans versus Texans game stack as his option this week as that game had the highest point total of the week. Both teams top four-man stack netted over 100 FP. @bellmar21 called the second highest game total with the Vikings and Falcons as both teams stacks scored close to 100 FP.
@bellmar21 and @VGo07 had a two-touchdown performance from their “TD Call” this week while @nickfromcwe and @snoopAloop_3 each tallied one.
For DraftKings value, Miles Gaskin brought back solid value with 16.6 FP for 5.4k, which was @KyleDillard20, @bellmar21 and @VGo07’s call.
@nickfromcew and @KyleDillard20 each nailed the FanDuel value with Justin Jefferson as he put up a massive 35.1 FP performance at 5.9k.
