As we welcome the weekend, the NBA has graced us with a fun looking 10 game slate tonight. With four of the ten games having totals of 230 points of more, we should have a high scoring night unlike the past few.

Top of the Key

Aaron Gordon ($8,200 DK / $7,800 FD) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Maybe he is still mad that he didn’t win the dunk contest, but Gordon has been on absolute fire lately.

Over his past five games, the Magic forward has averaged 50.5 fantasy points per game on 22.6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists while playing 39.3 minutes.

It seems as if he has been more of a focal point for Orlando, and the matchup against Minnesota is in Gordon’s favor. They see the second highest pace bump on the slate (5.4) and have the third highest implied team total at 120.5.

Pace up spots always favor Gordon so I will make sure I have exposure to him tonight.

Bam Adebayo ($8,800 DK / $9,100 FD) vs. Dallas Mavericks

I really like the chance at a ceiling game tonight for Adebayo as the Heat host the Mavericks in what should actually be a really good basketball game.

As for Bam, he has already torched Dallas for 58.75 fantasy points earlier in December and is coming off two monster games (70 and 64 fantasy points) in his past 4 games.

Since the All-Star break, Adebayo nearly is averaging a triple-double with 19.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists. He is also averaging 4.2 blocks and steals during that time.

Baseline Looks

Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,400 DK / $8,800 FD) at Miami Heat – This really depends on if Luka Doncic suits up or not. He is currently listed as a game time decision after injuring his hand last game out.

John Henson ($3,500 DK / $4,200 FD) at New Orleans Pelicans – Don’t mind him at a cheap price if he gets the start tonight against Pheonix. Henson is averaging better than a fantasy point per minute this season.

Corey Joseph ($3,500 DK / $3,600 FD) at Memphis Grizzlies – Like him again if De’Aaron Fox sits. Had a nice game when given the start last night.
