Welcome to the weekend! We have finally made it after what seems to be a drag of a week. I think I will still blame that on the turkey hangover!

Friday looks like a pretty solid 10 game slate with four games with 220 total or higher. The highest total, 233, checks in when the Clippers travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.

Only Denver and Washington are on the second half of their back-to-back tonight while Cleveland and Indiana are the front half of theirs.

Top of the Key

Anthony Davis ($9,600 DK / $10,700 FD) at Portland Trail Blazers

Davis checks in as the cheapest of the four “studs” tonight but potentially has the highest ceiling of all of them on any given night. He has not had his ceiling game yet this year but did rack up 46 fantasy points in just 26 minutes of action last time out against Utah.

The Lakes as a whole are in a great spot with team total coming in at 114, and a game pace set a little over 105. They also get a slight pace bump that should add a few possessions throughout the game.

Obviously, AD has been a focal point even with LeBron James this season and over his past five contests he is sporting a robust 31.8% usage rate.

Jimmy Butler ($8,100 DK / $9,100 FD) vs. Washington Wizards

It baffles me every time I open DraftKings and see Jimmy Butler’s price. He is just too cheap for the upside he provides on a nightly basis. After coming off two back-to-back 50+ point fantasy games his price has risen a mere $500

The game environment couldn’t set up better for Butler and the Heat. They have a 121 team implied total and the game is the fastest set matchup on the slate at 107. Miami is already without Goran Dragic and possibly Justice Winslow so Butler could pick up a little more usage tonight.

Baseline Looks

Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.

Ish Smith ($3,600 DK / $4,300 FD) at Miami Heat – Logged 34 minutes last night without Isiah Thomas and Jordan McRae. McRae is already listed out and if IT is held out again, the price is hard to pass up for the minutes Smith will see again.

Yogi Ferrell ($3,600 DK / $3,700 FD) at San Antonio Spurs – The Kings are beat up right now and backup, now starter, Corey Joseph can’t go, Ferrell will have to log a ton of minutes at the point position tonight. In just 14.5 minutes per game in his last five, Ferrell has been averaging 0.96 fantasy points per minute.

Jarrett Culver ($5,100 DK / $5,200 FD) and Josh Okogie ($3,700 DK / $3,800 FD) at Oklahoma City Thunder – Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins are both listed on the injury report today. If one, or both, cannot go someone will have to pick up the usage for the Timberwolves tonight.
