Wednesday features a 10 game slate with, surprisingly, not much injury news we are waiting on.

Millwaukee comes in as the largest favorite of the night at -8.5 so could this be the day we get Giannis and Luka to play all four quarters! Maybe on of sites should start offering “The First Three Quarters” slates.

Top of the Key

Damian Lillard ($8,100 DK / $9,100 FD) vs Sacramento Kings

Lillard has been very pedestrian as of late compared to his standards, but a matchup with the 27th ranked defense against point guards might just be what the doctor ordered.

In two games against the Kings this year, Lillard has gone for 54 and 43 points so the recent success is there. He is also still averaging 15.6 shots per game over his past five so the scoring opportunity is also there.

I like his price a lot better on DraftKings because of the lower game total and pace down spot for the Trail Blazers and I will more than likely be riding him to some green in the late night hammer.

Donavan Mitchell ($7,100 DK / $8,000 FD) vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Mitchell does draw a tough matchup tonight against the Lakers, however there are some things working in his favor. Starting point guard Mike Conley is out tonight with a hamstring injury and Utah has not shown faith in playing any of their other points guards significant minutes. We could see some point Mitchell tonight against a team on the second half of a back to back.

You have to go back to November 23 to find a game he really blew up the box score when he dropped 55 fantasy points against the Pelicans.

During the past five games however, he still is averaging 33.7 minutes per game with a 29.76% usage rate.

Baseline Looks

Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.

Devin Booker ($8,000 DK / $8,200 FD) and Kelly Oubre ($6,500 DK / $6,900 FD) at Orlando Magic – How much I will have of each of both these players depends on the Ricky Rubio news. He is currently listed as a GTD and if he sits, I will bump both Booker and Oubre up in my rankings

Buddy Hield ($7,400 DK / $7,400 FD) at Portland Trail Blazers – I like this play either way, but if Bogdan Bogdanovic sits tonight I want a ton of Hield. When Bogdanovic exited Monday’s game with a hamstring injury Hield was able to take over the game in the second half.

Miles Bridges ($5,100 DK / $5,800 FD) vs. Golden State Warriors – Nicolas Batum has been seeing his mininutes number dip as of late and is now listed as a GTD with a hand injury. Should he sit, Bridges could pick up a few extra minutes of court time.
