Sandwiched in between an 11 game slate yesterday and a 13 game slate tomorrow, we are graced with another two game slate on Tuesday. We have both games sitting at 227 and 227.5, so at least there is that.

I will do a breakdown of each game and share some of my thoughts (as of 11AM CT) on how I anticipate attacking tonight’s slate. Here is a quick look at what we are dealing with tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers at Dallas Mavericks (227 total, LAC -2.5)

LAC – Shamet (O)

DAL – Kleber (GTD)

Los Angeles Clippers

As always, the Clippers can blow up a slate if they would sit Kawhi Leonard, but there is no indication of that happening today. I’ll analyze it as he is good to go tonight.

Both Leonard and Paul George check in at sub $9,000 on DraftKings tonight and come in at third and second on my projected point model, respectively. Two solid plays, but I prefer George over Leonard tonight.

Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams come in at excellent price points tonight and they are my favorite plays of the slate under $8,000. Both should see close to the 30 minute mark tonight and have 40+ fantasy point potential on a given night.

I was curious on how all four of them play on the floor together, and how their production does or does not eat at each other. They have all played the past three game and cumulatively scored 164, 159 and 141 fantasy points. If you plugged all four of them in today it would cost you $30,000 with $5,000 to spend at the rest of your positions.

There is not much value today that is great, but if we can find some sub $5,000 plays, this could be a route to take in tournament lineups.

Patrick Beverly draws slight interest for me but I much prefer a different point guard in the other game to him. Ivica Zubac doesn’t see more than 20 minutes a game and would strictly be a tournament add for me tonight.

Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic is tough to fade on any slate, much less a two gamer. This isn’t the exact case as last week when we had Giannis isolated as the top play as Doncic comes in at a hefty $11,400 today on DraftKings. If you can fit him in, do it.

Other interests for me are Kristaps Porzingis as he is in a plus matchup spot and has been rolling as of late. Dorian Finney-Smith checks in at $4,400 and should see around 27 minutes and has to be in consideration on a two game slate with little value.

Maxi Kleber is currently listed as questionable and if he does suit up he could get what you need at just $3,700 to make the rest of your lineup work.

If he does however miss, Dwight Powell would see a minutes bump but has been terrible as of late. Despite that fact, he then becomes a decent play at $4,000.

Boban Marjanovic would also be interesting should Kleber miss, however, his minutes are extremely erratic. In his last four he has a DNP, 18, 20, DNP, DNP. I’d feel a little better if he was named in the starting rotation, but it’s always a risk rostering him.

Washington Wizards at Denver Nuggets (227.5 total, DEN -10)

Washington Wizards

Not much stands out for my on the Wizards today. They have the lowest team total on the slate and are in a negative pace down spot as they will lose about four possessions due to that. Bradley Beal can always put up a big number, but he is not a priority for me today.

I do however like two pieces of value here. Isiah Thomas and Davis Bertans are priced low enough to be considered in both cash and tournament lineups as they should log close to 28 minutes each.

Moritz Wagner has had some big games as of late, but I would rather find the extra money to move up to Bertans tonight.

Denver Nuggets

On the flip side, Denver is in the highest paced up spot on the night and should gain around three possessions in this game. Two games ago Nikola Jokic finally returned to form with a triple double but has seen his price jump to $9,800 on DraftKings. If you willing to risk not spend all the way up for Doncic, Jokic would be a solid way to start your tournament lineups.

Paul Milsap draws a great matchup tonight and Washington has allowed 32.95 fantasy points to the power forward over its past five games.

Will Barton is my favorite play on the Nuggets right now, however draws a little more of a difficult matchup tonight. At his $6,100 price on DraftKings and a pace up spot, I don’t see a ceiling game for Barton out of the question tonight.

Mason Plumlee on paper has a good matchup off the bench but his minutes are just too thin to consider him in any more than a tournament lineup.
