Hopefully the small four game slate treated everyone well yesterday. We are going to do a complete 180 today as we are looking at an 11 game slate on HUMP DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
As you can imagine on this slate, we have some studs in play. On a game to game basis we know what they can do regardless of the match up. I’ll more than likely have some share of each of them in tournaments.
Here is an early look at what we have for tonight’s 11 game slate.

Top of the Key
Fred VanVleet ($7,400 DK / $7,900 FD) vs. Orlando Magic
I love minutes. And VanVleet gets a ton of them. Over his past five games he has been averaging 38.8 minutes and that includes last time out when he only logged 31 without playing the fourth quarter!
Along with that, he has been extremely productive as their number two option with a 23.69 usage rate while averaging 20.4 points and 8 assists and 43.6 fantasy points per game over his last five.
The mid-range is juicy today, and VanVleet is one of my early favorites.
Kristaps Porzingis (7,300 DK / 8,200 FD) vs Golden State Warriors
Porzingis looks to have a killer spot set up for him today. The Mavericks implied team total is sitting at 115.5 right now and are favored by 11 points.
I’m not going to be turned away because of the potential blow out risk. Last night, the Lakers were heavily favored but the Thunder were able to keep it close leading to a big Anthony Davis night. If the Warriors can keep this close, I’d assume Porzingis will be lighting up the box score.
He has also been trending in the right direction lately as over the past five games is minutes (+1.7), points (+0.8) and rebounds (+1.8) have all increased.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
Robert Covington ($5,700 DK / $6,100 FD) vs. Utah Jazz – The Timberwolves have a lot of players listed on the injury report today (Laymen (O), Wiggins/Okogie/Napier (GTD)) so there could even more minutes for RoCo to log tonight.
Alec Burks ($5,200 DK / $6,200 FD) at Dallas Mavericks – Had a monster game last night and pricing was out before he erupted. No issues going back here tonight at this price.
Dwight Powell ($4,300 DK / $5,000 FD) vs. Golden State Warriors – Seems to be in a good spot here and too cheap. One of my favorite value plays early on.
