Happy Friday! The weekend kicks off with an eight game slate, highlighted by a massive 241.5 game total in Minnesota and the Wizards travel to face off against the Timberwolves. There for sure should be some fantasy goodness in there.
Still waiting on some key names with injury news (Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis) which would massively impact the slate. Here is what we are looking at for tonight’s docket of games.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://dfsheadquarters.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Untitled-1.png” align=”center” _builder_version=”4.0.3″ hover_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″]
Top of the Key
Kemba Walker at Golden State Warriors ($8,200 DK / $9,000 FD)
As I will have interest in the high priced centers tonight, Walker comes in just too cheap for me, especially on Draft Kings.
The Boston point guard has been a measure of consistency this year as he has eclipsed 40 fantasy points in eight of the ten games so far this season. Pair that with Gordon Hayward’s injury, Walker should be able to take advantage of the Warriors soft defense as the Celtics are sitting at a nice 115.5 team implied total.
I am a big fan of Walker’s minutes (32.7 over his last 5 games) and usage (nearly 27% over his past 5) making him one of my favorite point guards on the slate tonight.
Blake Griffin at Charlotte Hornets (7,100 DK / 8,000 FD)
We will have to see if his minute restriction goes up tonight, and if it does I want all the Griffin against the Hornets.
In his first game of the year he logged 24 minutes and put up 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists. If he can get his minutes bumped up into the 28-30 range, I think he has triple-double potential tonight as Charlotte allows 33 fantasy points per game to the power forward position over their past five games.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks throughout the day.
P.J. Tucker ($4,500 DK / 5,000 FD), Tyson Chandler ($4,000 DK / $3,800 FD) and Austin Rivers ($3,700 DK / $3,500 FD) vs. Indiana Pacers – How high I get on my exposure to these three depend on the Russell Westbrook news. He will either be sitting out today or tomorrow, and if it happens to be today I like all three of these guys as they are just too cheap. Obvious HUGE bump to Harden if he does sit.
Enes Kanter ($4,900 DK / $5,200 FD) vs. Willie Cauley-Stein ($4,700 DK / $6,000 FD) – Both these players really depend on if Daniel Theis and/or Robert Williams play tonight. If both miss, we have to viable offensive options at the center position matching up against each other who both have no interest in playing defense. If both Theis and Williams play, it does not interest me as much. More of a DraftKings play for me.
Jeff Teague ($5,200 DK / $6,600 FD) vs. Washington Wizards – Teague played well coming off his illness which caused him to miss four games and I can see a path that he can eclipse the 30 fantasy point mark again tonight. This is a huge game total and with Napier potentially missing again he should see his minutes increase tonight.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″]
