Back from a few week hiatus from the Holiday, we will start back up “The 2-3 Zone” with a larger nine game slate for hump day. We have four of the nine game with more than a seven point spread, and two games of 13.5 or more.
Atlanta is hosting Houston tonight, which comes in at the highest game total on the slate at 237, and the Rockets will be without Russell Westbrook on the first game of their back to back tonight. James Harden?

Top of the Key
Brandon Ingram ($8,800 DK / $9,300 FD) vs. Chicago Bulls
Coming off a 56 fantasy point performance his last time out, Ingram should see the same opportunity as Jrue Holiday is already ruled out tonight against the Bulls. He logged 39 minutes in his last game and should see similar to that tonight.
In his last five games, Ingram has averaged 24.8 points in 35.2 minutes with a 29.77. He is also sporting an above average 1.21 fantasy point per minute mark during that time.
With Holiday off the court the Pelicans forward sees an uptick in both usage rate (+2.57) and fantasy points (+4.89). I wouldn’t put it out of the realm of possibility he cracks the 50+ fantasy point mark again tonight in a game that features a 224.5 game total.
Aaron Gordon ($6,200 DK / $6,200 FD) vs. Washington Wizards
I love Gordon’s price tonight on both sites for his upside in a great matchup against the Wizards. Washington is really struggling to find bodies to put on the court and Gordon should be able to attack them at will tonight.
After missing two games, Gordon has logged 30+ minutes in the three games since. Over his last five, he is averaging nearly a double-double with 12.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
The Magic are also without Jonathan Issac for an extended period of time and that should only help Gordon’s 0.96 fantasy point per minute output over his last five games.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
Josh Hart ($4,200 DK / $4,100 FD) vs. Chicago Bulls – Hart drew the start last time out and the start to his evening could not have gone any worse as he picked up two fouls in the first two and a half minutes of the game. Despite that, he was still able to log 27 minutes in the contest and if he stays out of foul trouble should be able to push the 30+ minute mark tonight.
Bobby Portis ($3,800 DK / $3,700 FD) at Utah Jazz – Portis should be fresh after hitting the showers early last night as he was ejected for clotheslining KCP last night. If Marcus Morris is ruled out tonight, Portis should pick up some additional minutes at a cheap price.
Michael Porter Jr. ($3,800 DK / $3,900 FD) at Dallas Mavericks – We might not know who draws the start for the injured Will Barton tonight, but if MPJ gets the nod, I really like his upside.
