Tuesday evening features an eight game slate headlined by a huge piece of injury news already. Giannis Antetokounmpo has already been ruled out against the Washington Wizards tonight, opening up massive amount of value from the Milwaukee Bucks.
Three games come in with high game totals today, Milwaukee versus Washington (241), Toronto versus Atlanta (233.5) and Cleveland versus New Orleans (233). Two of those games however have spreads of more than 11.5.
Here is a look at what is on the docket for tonight.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://dfsheadquarters.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Untitled.png” _builder_version=”4.2.2″ align=”center” hover_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.2.2″][et_pb_column _builder_version=”4.2.2″ type=”4_4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.2.2″ hover_enabled=”0″]
Top of the Key
Bradley Beal ($8.300 DK / $8,800 FD) at Milwaukee Bucks
Beal continues to play extremely well over his past few games as he has topped 50+ fantasy points in his last three while playing 38 minutes in two of those games. With the news that Giannis has been ruled out, the Wizards have a little better chance at keeping this one somewhat in reach today. Hopefully.
Over his past five games, the Wizards guard has bolstered a 34.87 usage rate scoring 1.39 fantasy points per minute. With Washington’s team total coming in at nearly 115 for this matchup, Beal should be able to rip off a good chunk of them.
Khris Middleton ($7,000 DK / $7,100 FD) vs. Washington Wizards
Disclaimer. There is going to be a lot of the Milwaukee versus Washington game in today’s article.
From the Bucks side, I really like Middleton and Eric Bledsoe ($6,600 DK / $5,800 FD) as the higher priced options.
Middleton gains a +10.51 fantasy point increase and +8.03 usage rate when Giannis is off the court this season in nearly 400 minutes of court time. I would say that is a pretty decent sample size.
He has also been playing well as of late, averaging 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists over his past five games and is averaging 1.22 fantasy points per minute. The Bucks also have the highest team total on tonight’s slate at 126.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
Troy Brown ($4,500 DK / $4,700 FD) at Milwaukee Bucks – There are a few more minutes go to around for Washington tonight as Jordan McRae is already ruled out. My pick is Brown tonight as he sees an increase in fantasy points (7.33) and usage (3.28) with McRae off the court.
Marquese Chriss ($4,300 DK / $4,500 FD) at Philadelphia 76ers – With Willie Cauley-Stein traded, Chriss will once again get his opportunity for Golden State. Averaging 1.11 fantasy points per minute over his past few games, if he can see 25 minutes he could exceed his price point tonight.
Ersan Ilyasova ($3,300 DK / $3,700 FD), Donte DiVincenzo ($4,300 DK / $4,500 FD) and George Hill ($3,900 DK / $3,800 FD) vs. Washington Wizards – All priced way to low with Giannis out. Also like Brook Lopez in the spot.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.2.2″ hover_enabled=”0″]
