Thursday offers us up a smaller five game slate, but it seems to be more of a headache then a ten game slate.
There are some teams who have multiple impact players listed or already ruled out today (Boston, Denver, New Orleans, Orlando and Phoenix) so there is potentially a lot of ways to some value plays tonight, but also a lot of potential bombs.
No crazy high game totals for today but we do have two games with more than a 10 point spread.

Top of the Key
Julius Randle ($8,000 DK / $7,900 FD) vs. Pheonix Suns
Randle continues to be underpriced for the production and upside he brings night in and night out. After a two game absence the Knicks forward has ranked up consecutive games of 45 and 49 points, attempting 20+ shots in each of the contests.
Last game, he dropped his 49 points in just 27 minutes due to the fact the Bucks had a 30+ point lead a few minutes into the second half.
In his last five games, he is averaging a double-double with 19 points and 10.8 rebounds with a 28.71 usage rate and scoring 1.27 fantasy points per minute.
With this game being the highest game total on the slate (226) and only a three point spread, if the Knicks can keep it close we could be looking at a ceiling game from Randle tonight.
D’Angelo Russell ($7,500 DK / $7,400 FD) vs. Denver Nuggets
I am going back to the well with Russell as he disappointed everyone his last time out. He followed up his stellar return with a dud on Tuesday going 5-17 from the field with three rebounds and eight assists.
We liked him on Tuesday due to his price and upside, and I like him again today as his price has again dropped. We can look at some positives from Tuesday. He did attempt 17 shots and did see 34 minutes of action. I will take that volume for the price any day.
Normally, I don’t like to target anyone against the Nuggets but they are without their starting backcourt of Jamal Murray and Gary Harris tonight making it an easier matchup for Russell.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
Mikal Bridges ($4,500 DK / $4,500 FD) at New York Knicks – Should slide into the rotation for the injured Kelly Oubre tonight and has played 30+ minutes in three of his past five games.
Michael Porter Jr. ($3,600 DK / $3,600 FD) and P.J. Dozier ($3,000 DK / $3,500 FD) at Golden State Warriors – I like MPJ more if he was starting, but I think you could get their even if he doesn’t. The Nuggets are going to need some form of scoring with Murray, Harris and Milsap out tonight.
Dozier is more risky but he did log his first action of the season last night (13 minutes, seven shot attempts) after Murray went down.
Mitchell Robinson ($4,700 DK / $4,700 FD) and Bobby Portis ($4,500 DK / $4,400 FD) vs. Phoenix Suns – I wouldn’t go both in the same lineup and I wouldn’t use either in cash. I could get to one of them if they are named the starter as they are likely to see 20-25 minutes baring foul trouble.
