Today we have two of the number one seeds in Los Angeles and Milwaukee looking to rebound after taking losses in the opening round of the playoffs. It should be another great day of basketball as three of the four games feature 226 or higher game totals.
Lock is a half hour earlier today, so let’s dig into the slate!
Top of the Key
LeBron James ($10,900 DK / $10,500 FD) vs. Portland Trailblazers
It is a tough call between James and Giannis Antetokounmpotoday. I am not sure you can go wrong with either. As of now, I would probably lean James in cash and Antetokounmpo as a tournament play, however, I do prefer James on FanDuel where he is priced $700 cheaper than the Bucks star.
James is coming off a massive 29 point, 17 rebound and 16 assist triple double and it is not out of the question that he does the same tonight.
During 228 minutes of action in the bubble games, he has a 31.4% usage rate while averaging 1.45 DraftKings and 1.40 FanDuel fantasy points per minute.
The last thing he wants to do is see his team go down two games in the series, so you can expect the former MVP to put out a massive performance tonight.
Malcom Brogdon ($6,900 DK / $7,400 FD) vs. Miami Heat
Brogdon has always been a solid fantasy producer and with Victor Oladipo currently listed as a game time decision he could see a massive bump in productivity.
In bubble action, Brogdon has a 26.1 usage rate while averaging 1.17 DK and 1.15 FD fantasy points per minute. He is coming off a solid, not spectacular, game where he put up 38 points in 39 minutes.
Over the course of the season with Oladipo off the court, Brogdon has really picked up his production. He has a +6.08% usage rate and averages 14.64 more fantasy points during that time. If Oladipo is ruled out, Brogdon becomes a core play for me today.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
George Hill ($4,000 DK / $4,200 FD) vs. Orlando Magic – Playoff George Hill has arrived. He is at a great price point to let you spend up today as his minutes are solidified in the backup role. In game one he put up 29 DK points in 27 minutes.
Rajon Rondo ($3,000 DK / $3,500 FD) vs. Portland Trailblazers – Currently listed as questionable, Rondo has yet to see game action since the restart. If he plays tonight, it is really hard to pass him up at the bare minimum even if there is word his minutes would be limited.
Edmond Sumner (3,700 DK / 3,800 FD) vs. Miami Heat – I only have interest in this is Oladipo is ruled out. He should see a solid 25 minutes of run if that is the case.
