A few more days left here of the regular season bubble ball. It was nice that both sites took the first two games off their main slates especially after seeing some on the “injury” news; it could have left us in a murky situation.
This should be a fun five game slate with a few teams having a lot to play for. Memphis, Phoenix and Portland are still looking to solidify their spot in the playoffs.
Top of the Key
Damian Lillard ($11,200 DK / $10,100 FD) at Brooklyn Nets
I could go through the stats on this one, but if you have been paying attention to any of the bubble basketball this should be a lock and load situation.
Lillard has been unconscious in the bubble averaging 1.52 DraftKings and 1.47 FanDuel fantasy points per minute with a 32.4% usage rate. He came out and said he was not in the bubble to waste his time and he has clearly lived up to that comment.
Ja Morant ($9,000 DK / $7,700 FD) vs. Milwaukee Bucks
I like the price on FanDuel a lot more then DraftKings but I do still think his is a viable option on both sites.
Memphis still has something to play for and Morant will look to keep them rolling against a Bucks team who more than likely will be without most of their starting five.
Morant is coming off his best game since the return with a 57 DK point double double against Boston. In 268 bubble minutes, the guard is putting up 1.15 DK and 1.13 FD fantasy points per minute with a 25% usage rate.
Assuming this game stays close, Morant showed how dynamic he can be last game and looks to carry that momentum in today’s contest with Milwaukee.
Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.
Boban Marjanovic ($3,500 DK / $4,100 FD) at Phoenix Suns – I only have interest here if he starts. If he does, he is a FPPM monster. In his most recent start, he dropped 40 DK points on Utah in just 25 minutes.
Sterling Brown ($3,800 DK / $3,900 FD) at Memphis Grizzlies – Milwaukee is already without Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight and it would not surprise me if more players sit. The Bucks are always a question on who will see minutes when that happens but Brown has proven to produce when he has been given the opportunity. He put up a solid 32 DK points in 30 minutes in their last game against the Wizards.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker (3,700 DK / 3,500 FD) vs. Orlando Magic – This is more of a 20-entry type move, but I would expect Alexander-Walker to see similar run as he did their last game. He did not have the best of games shooting 3-10 from the field but logged 25 minutes. If he can connect on a few more shots, he could be a solid low price option today.
