Snoop’s NBA “2-3 Zone” – 1/11/21

If you did not happen to play NBA DFS this weekend, you might have saved yourself a huge headache. Along with injuries, heath protocol issues are running rampant throughout the league and we have already seen one game canceled.

Moving on to Monday, it looks to be much of the same. Of the 16 teams on tonight’s slate, six teams either have an extensive injury list or have been stricken by quarantine issues. As of now it looks like all the games will be played, but that can change in an instant.

Six of the eight games start within an hour and a half of each other, followed by two West Coast night games.

As always, we will be discussing the slate throughout the day in our Discord, so make sure you head over to our premium membership page to get signed up!

Top of the Key

Bradley Beal ($9,900 DK / $10,100 FD) at Phoenix Suns

Beal has once again shown this year that he is one of the premier scorers in the league as he is averaging 31.5 points per game in 32.4 minutes. He is also filling the stat sheet on a nightly basis adding 4.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists.

Washington will be down Russell Westbrook (quad) and Thomas Bryant (torn ACL) which ultimately benefits Beal the most. With Westbrook off the court the season, his usage rate spikes to 41.4%. In a small sample size, 33 minutes, with both Westbrook and Bryant off the court he see an insane 47.6% usage rate.

He also draws a favorable matchup with the Suns as they allowed Paul George to drop 55.75 DraftKings fantasy points four games ago while connecting on 7-10 three pointers.

The combination of a game total sitting at 230 and the Wizards being underdogs, Beal is going to be a focal point in many of my lineups tonight.

Malcom Brogdon ($8,300 DK / $8,400 FD) at Sacramento Kings

Brogdon continues to be underpriced on both sites relating to his productivity this season.

Averaging 37.4 minutes per game, the Virginia star is averaging 23.4 points, 7.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds with a 23.5 usage rate.

He draws a dream matchup against the Kings backcourt tonight as they have allowed four of the last five point guards to go over 50 DK FP.

This game has the third highest total on the board tonight at 227 so Brogdon should have ample opportunites to exceed value tonight.

Baseline Looks

Here are a few players and situations I will be keeping my eye that could be in good spots depending on how news breaks or players I will look into a little throughout the day.

LaMelo Ball ($7,000 DK / $7,400 FD) at New York Knicks – Could this be the night that Ball slides into the starting lineup? If so, I will be finding a way to get him in my lineups.

Tyrese Maxey ($4,700 DK / $5,000 FD) at Atlanta Hawks – The 76ers are shorthanded today and could possibly be without Joel Embiid tonight. In their last game, the rookie played 44 minutes and took 33 field goal attempts resulting in 61 DK FP.

Kevin Huerter ($5,500 DK / $4,900 FD) vs. Philadelphia 76ers – Atlanta is also dealing with a depleted roster tonight and could be missing one of their stars in Trae Young. If he misses, Huerter could see a minute and usage bump.
