New Orleans Saints (10-3) vs Indianapolis Colts (6-7)
o/u 47.5
Saints -9.5
Injuries
Colts- TY Hilton as of now is a GTD. Kenny Moore/ Pierre Desir are both also out
Saints- Jared Cook is coming back from a concussion. Marcus Davenport, Sheldon Rankins, Vonn Bell, and Kiko Alonzo are all out.
Tempo- Saints 22nd in pace and Colts 28th. I would assume the Saints will push the pace early and then slow the game down after they take a nice lead.
Saints
RB’s – Alvin Kamara should see quite a bit of work tonight and his price is fantastic. The only concerning factor is that he is not seeing a ton of redzone work. Lativus Murray is nothing more than a game script play in my opinion. We can assume that the Saints will take the lead early and will feed Murray. The only issue is banking on a TD, but it is still quite possible if the game really gets out of hand.
WR’s- Michael Thomas, I mean what can I say about this man? The Colts do not have anyone that can hold him down and I would be shocked if he doesn’t score a touchdown tonight. His price is insane, but for a good reason. FADE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Tedd Ginn and Tre’quan Smith are both pretty much the same type of player in my opinion. The Colt’s try not to allow WR’s to get behind their defense, but they have not been able to stop that from happening. Smith is over $1,000 cheaper so if I had to choose one it would be Smith. Either way, both are fine in Saints stacks.
Taysom Hill, it seems to me that most prime time games he does something that breaks the slate. One of those value plays that can win you a big field GPP. If you are playing in a huge tournament, I would want exposure.
TE – Jared Cook, this man just went NUTS against the stout 49er defense. He is now the number two option for New Orleans and has huge upside. I want Cook exposure tonight.
QB – Drew Brees, I mean he is the man. Play in your lineups tonight.
Colts
RB’s – Marlon Mack is back for the Colts and honestly tonight isn’t a sexy play for him at all. The Colts are huge home underdogs and that does not scream a Mack game at all.
Nyheim Hines fits more of the game script and has a decent price tag. His upside isn’t sexy at all, but he can get the job done if you are building lineups based off game script.
I will not say you should fade both 100% if you are MME, build your lineups with game script in mind. If you think the Colts will have a chance at winning this game, I want Mack. If you believe the Colts will be playing catch up all game, then take a shot on Hines.
WR’s – As of right now TY Hilton is a GTD and even if he plays I will assume he will be limited. Zach Pascal has looked quite good with Hilton off the field, and his price tag shows that. If Hilton does play, I will lower my ownership for Pascal. If Hilton does not play, then Pascal is in a great position to do some damage based off game script.
Marcus Johnson is another player to take a look at, but his ownership should be dropped if Hilton does indeed play. He has done quite well and should see heavy targets if Hilton Sits. I get the price isn’t sexy, but we have to play a few WR’s from the Colts don’t we?
Mo-Alie Cox is another WR that can go really under looked. He isn’t a great play at all and is TD dependent. If you are MME I would want some exposure.
TE- Jack Doyle, the number option for the Colts and he will get fed tonight. He will carry high ownership, but who cares? Load up on Doyle and expect heavy volume.
QB – Jacoby Brissett, I really like him tonight based on game script. He will be throwing often. I would stack him in your game script lineups based on the Colts playing from behind.
