We have a MONSTER 14 game slate on this Tuesday night. Rosters lock at the usual time of 6:00 pm CST, so make sure your lineups are set by then. Also, please be sure to check services like Left Wing Lock or Daily Face Off to verify there has been no last minute line shuffling going on.
This article will discuss the one offs you can plug into your lineups to compliant your stacks and ensure your lineup finishes in the green. Our members will be discussing the slate, lineup construction and everything else NHL DFS related in our Discord, so do yourself a favor and find your way to our premium membership page and get signed up so you won’t miss out on the edge our membership provides!
Nathan MacKinnon (COL) vs SJ
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: we roster MacKinnon against almost anyone but especially against a team that allows goals at the clip the Sharks do. Mac rarely leaves the ice and should be a staple of your build tonight regardless of in which format you are playing.
Pierre Bergeron (BOS) vs PIT
With David Pastrnak still out, Bergeron has stepped up his game in an attempt to fill the massive hole left by Pasta’s absence. The PIT defense has been porous, as has their goalie duo of Jarry and DeSmith. I love Boston overall tonight but my favorite Bruin is Bergeron.
Taylor Hall (BUF) vs NYR
The big winger has had an immediate impact in Buffalo, but skating beside Jack Eichel tends to bring out the very best in folks. The Sabres are in a great spot tonight against the Rangers, who have been hemorrhaging shots and goals so far.
Max Pacioretty (VGK) vs STL
The Golden Knights top line is off to a torrid start, and much of that is directly attributable to the play of Max Pacioretty. Him and Mark Stone seem to have really clicked with new center Chandler Stephenson. Jordan Binnington and the Blues defense has been shaky, so let’s let Max carve them up.
THE FIVE HOLE
Here are some players that might not be household names and who might fly under the radar that are in great spots. Here are some less well known one offs that will save you some salary and bolster your stacks.
Tony Konecny (PHI) vs NJD
With MacKenzie Blackwood on the shelf, the already suspect Devils goalie situation has taken a sharp turn for the worse. I knew I wanted to talk about someone from Philly and Konecny jumped off the page at me. He’s been skating as well as anyone on the Flyers, and I love this play tonight.
Ryan Ellis (NSH) vs CHI
It’s rare that you see a defenseman mentioned here, but Ellis fits the bill to a T. If you think “Preds defenseman” the name “Roman Josi” rightly should pop up in your head. However, Ellis is playing himself right out of Josi’s shadow. Get him while you can.
Miko Heiskanen (DAL) vs DET
There were a couple of games there where it appeared DET had turned a corner defensively. However, the clock struck midnight during their last game and they turned back into a pumpkin. That paves the way for the Stars to have a big game. Heiskanen’s price is too cheap for the upside he provides.
