Happy Tuesday! Man, football was amazingggggg wasn’t it!? I know we are talking about baseball today, but I am for one super excited for this football season. As a Raider fan, I can say I am sooooo happy we won last night. Having to deal with this Antonio cry baby Brown drama for this long has put quite a toll on my sanity.

Anyways, we have a pretty interesting slate today and the pitcher options I will say are a little bit difficult to break down. Regardless, I have the gems for you today to help make this complicated slate a tad bit easier. Let’s get to work!

Walker Buehler at Baltimore Orioles ($11,600 FD/$12,300 DK)

Buehler at Baltimore should be an interesting one to see. His price tag is pretty high, but for good reasons. Baltimore is striking out 22.7% of the time against RHP and the Orioles really have nothing to play for.

Buehler does struggle on the road, but that is only against teams who can actually hit the damn ball. This matchup screams otherwise, Baltimore sucks and Buehler is a true ace. He is coming into this game -315 road favorite with a TT against sitting at 2.55.

I get that price may scare you away, but I am struggling to fade this man in this matchup. He is a perfect GPP and cash play with upside that is through the roof.

Trevor Bauer at Seattle Mariners ($8,700 FD/DK $9,100)

Bauer is going to make or break me tonight. I totally get It, Bauer has been absolute fucking trash. The dude literally forgot how to pitch. Flyball rate is up, line drive is up, hard contact is up, etc. With all that being said, he has shown that he has the upside especially in this contest to exceed value by a mile.

Bauer is a -128 favorite with a TT sitting at 4.05. I would not dare play him in cash, but he is indeed one of my favorite GPP arms on this slate. He gets a nice park shift to Seattle and is going against a Seattle team that just isn’t very good. In my honest opinion, if you are fading Buehler then Bauer should be in your lineups. If he kills us well, then he is dead to me. PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Jakob Junis at Chicago White Sox ($8,100 FD/DK $8,600)

Junis is going into this matchup a -101 road favorite with a TT implied total sitting at 5.01. The run total scares the living hell out of me, but If I was a betting man I would take the under. Junis has had a great success versus the White Sox in his career, but sadly most of them came at home. Junis to me should still be safe and possibly get you the win tonight.

Honorable Mentions

Max Fried

Chase Anderson (low floor and chalk, still fine for cash)

Zach Wheeler

Ryan Yarbrough

Overall thoughts tonight – It is a tough slate to pick pitchers, I cannot sugar coat it. Just pick a few pitchers on the list and go with your gut.
