HAPPPPPPYYYYY FUCKING FRIDAY!
Hopefully you guys took advantage of the free preseason information that we feed you guys for four weeks! If not you’re not out of luck, just sign up for our membership which is pretty much .50 cents a day ($7 a week/$15 a month).
We have a nice slate today and I am going to drop a few plays that can help you build a STRONG lineup. Of course I will remind you my articles won’t have pitchers who are over 10k, well because that isn’t super helpful. We want the arms that can help us find some value. Anyways let’s get to work!
Zack Wheeler vs Philadelphia Phillies ($8,800 FD/$9,000 DK)
I really think Wheeler is really going to go overlooked in this spot. We of course know that Nola himself is in a great spot, but so is Wheeler. Vegas absolutely hates Wheeler today, he has an implied run total against him sitting at 5.68 and it has gone up +0.52. Normally, I would say fuck that but today I am going against Vegas.
Wheeler is a great GPP play and has great success versus this Phillies team. In his last two outings he has scored 39 and 23 DK points. I think if my gut is correct Wheeler is the gut play today. He is not by any means a cash play, but should be just fine in GPP lineups.
Anibal Sanchez vs Miami Marlins ($7,700 FD/$8,800 DK)
So I had a really good talk last night with Snoop, our other MLB writer, and I really think we have gotten to the point to keep attacking these shitty teams. Miami sucks and I will not stay away from this matchup regardless of ownership.
Sanchez is a -240 favorite with a team implied run total against sitting at 2.92 (dropped -0.04). His price to me is a little bit too cheap for his upside in this matchup and I am perfectly OK with it. I believe Sanchez is a great cash and GPP play.
Max Fried vs Chicago White Sox ($8,800 FD/$7,700 DK)
Here we go, another pitcher going against a shitty team. Now I think the White Sox are not god awful, but they are pretty bad. Fried is a -203 favorite with an implied team total sitting at 3.25 (dropped -0.03). I am a tad hesitant to lock him into cash lineups due to the fact that White Sox could go heavy with righties. I still love his price on DraftKings and would match him up with Anibal Sanchez as much as I could.
MY PLAY OF THE NIGHT- Aaron Nola
He is expensive, but his upside in this matchup is undeniable. I would lock him up in all my cash lineups and even throw him in a few GPP lineups as well
