Back at it again with another amazing slate and shockingly, I really like today’s slate! If you know me at all, you would know that I hate big slates due to the fact that it makes my brain hurt. Before we get started with the two pitchers that I really like today, I just wanted to give you guys a little update on the hash brown situation mentioned in yesterday’s article.
So after me and the wife did a little more investigating and we found some interesting things missing. My wife loves frozen pretzels and guess what, the old lady took a bite out of a cold pretzel and put it back in the fridge! WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT!? Then we noticed that our mushrooms (uncooked) were missing and she ate those too…the fuck. She also decided to eat some of my vegan chicken tenders and a left over bag of chips I got from the gas station.
As you can tell, this lady is beyond strange and I am so glad I don’t have to see her face ever again. Anyways, let’s talk about this fun slate. We have Coors and the Dodgers going against a straight trash can pitcher. We are going to want a ton of action from those two games and these two pitchers will make that easy. Alright let’s dig in!
Reynaldo Lopez vs DET ($5,600)
Here we are back attacking Detroit once again. Lopez is 2-2 in 9 meetings with Detroit and has a 2.86 ERA. He had back to back good outings against Detroit in April, which he went 12 innings allowing two earned runs. In his second outing versus Detroit he had a career high 14 k’s! The main bat he needs to worry about in this lineup is Castellanos who is 10-27 facing him, other than that, golden!
Now let’s take a look how Detroit does vs RHP on the road:
K%- 27.4% (most in MLB)
OBP- .289 (28th)
wOBA- .288 (27th)
ISO- .164 (21st)
As of right now White Sox are +100, but honestly I have to believe that is because Boyd is on the mound. Honestly, I believe the White Sox can get to Boyd here. He has a career era of 6.23 at Chicago and I believe Abreu could be a huge problem for him today. Now if you believe that Lopez could be chalky, I think creating a lineup with Lopez with a White Sox stack is the way to go in GPP’s.
Joe Musgrove vs CHC ($5,900)
Never would I of thought that I would ever write anyone up against the Cubs, but here we are. Musgrove is coming off back to back wins (3-1 his last five outings). In his career he is 2-2 with a career 1.37 ERA versus the Cubs, yeah shocking. In his last outing facing Chicago, he allowed two runs and 4 hits in 6 1/3. The one statistic that really stuck out to me is that a few of the big hitters on the Cubs really struggle against him. Rizzo is 0-10, Baez is 1-12, and Bryant is 1-10. The one bat that has a good history versus Musgrove is Heyward is 3-10, but that is about it. Right now Pitt is +118, but that doesn’t scare me at all.
These two pitchers should allow you to get all the big bats you want on this huge slate and hopefully lead you to some moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
